Ok let's see - we have an image hosted on a profile that is 1 day old and asks you to visit a website with a strange url with a promise of a financial reward on an another website. How do you even imagine that would work? And now, of course, people start crying that their computers got infected with malware. Which is great - every genius who fell for this obvious phishing scam deserved it. I hope your shitty computer burns and you along with it.

Bronies go nuts, and Nintendo Sucks?Equestria Girls
The trailer to "Equestria Girls" (the humanized MLP spinoff film) finally was released today. Aaaannnd everyone's freaking out. Again.
You know, it actually looks pretty decent. Bronies... please understand: I know you're a major unexpected demographic for the show. I know you enjoy seeing shout-out's become canon within the show, and appreciate how the creators do little things here and there for you. But... the show isn't made for you. This is not Cartoon Network and the target demographic isn't 25 year olds in college. You're a nice addition to the target demographic of little girls, but you are not the driving force behind MLP.
I don't want this to sound mean, but it needs to be said. This is where it becomes very important to understand the fine line between being a fan of the show and thinking that because you've invested so much energy into the show that you're entitled to things.
I'm sure the movie won't be as bad as everyone makes it out to be. It honest

Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

Thought I would put the artwork aside and briefly touch on a subject rarely touched upon in RL... That is Caregiving. November has been designated National Caregiver Month to shine the spotlight on those who are selflessly caring for loved ones, aging or disabled or both.

"Spouses and partners become caregivers to the ones they love even as they navigate their own health challenges… All of them give selflessly to bring comfort, social engagement, and stability to those they love… National Family Caregivers Month is a time to reflect on the compassion and dedication that family caregivers embody every day. As we offer our appreciation and admiration for their difficult work, let us also extend our own offers of support to them and their loved ones."---President Obama

This month let's honor those who have become our #1 long term care provider , the family caregivers!

Wow, I'm really glad this is enough of a prominent subject that we're dedicating a month to it. Just personally, I'm tired of the rhetoric about "people who just want things" when talking about people who either depend on assistance or depend on the assistance of people they care for. I saw a set of videos by "the 47%," and I was really blown away by the number of people who are either struggling with their own health limitations or with the limitations of others in their family who were brave enough to speak up.

You know I am one of those caregivers right now. I'm caring for my mother who happened to be suffering from vascular dementia and it's no picnic what this does to her. You can thank the people at the Alzheimer Association for pushing this out into the open. It went from Family caregivers to Caregivers. And it covers the broad spectrum of caregiving in the family from those who care for their disabled children to those who care from their aging parents and every shade in between.
