Eleggua: The Messenger Orisha

Eleggua :

The number 1 orisha in the panatheon of the Lucumi religion. All must go to him before any of the other orishas. He carries out Olorun's wishes here on earth. He rewards or punishes people depending on whether they please or displease the ohter orishas including himself. You can find him at his usual habitat, the crossroad. If there has been an accident at the crossroad, practioners will leave offerings there to appease him. He is also known as a trickster who plays tricks to get people to learn lessons.
